Seek Progress Not Perfection
One thing to consider when working on yourself is that you should be striving for progress not perfection. Perfection does not exist. Perfection is just a form of fear. We should wake up each day trying to be a little bit better today than we were yesterday. We need to learn to be gentle with ourselves and realize that we’re doing the best that we can. It’s easy to want to compare ourselves to others, but we must not do that. You are uniquely you, and all that is really important is that you are trying to be the best version of you possible.
