Beautifully Broken

Have you ever seen ancient Japanese pottery?  The interesting thing about it is that they take broken pottery and put it back together with gold. This broken pottery becomes stronger and more beautiful than ever. The same happens with us when we pick the broken pieces up from our lives and carry on. We allow the light to fill in the cracks and make us even more beautiful than ever. We have a choice every day to allow ourselves to stay broken or to put the pieces back together again.

Get Clear About Your Vision

What does your vision for your life look like? Be the Change You Wish to See

I recently read an article on CNN about a good deed that was done by some young people. What should have been a feel good story turned into a negative nightmare because of the comments that some cynical people left. I think we need to see more of these positive stories and less of the negative comments. Every day we have a choice to make a positive or negative impact on our world. It starts with us, and I know that I want to be known for my positivity, not my negativity.

Different Isn't Dangerous

Traveling abroad throughout the years has opened my eyes to many things. One important lesson that I have learned is how to appreciate the differences in people and cultures. Our differences  are what make our world so unique and interesting. We shouldn’t be afraid of someone’s differences. We should celebrate them.

Be Present for Your Life

I have been so fortunate to take my family and students to Europe, and I have learned so much. One very valuable lesson that I learned is how important it is to be fully present each moment of your life. We waste so much of our time worrying about a part we can’t change or a future we don’t have much control over. It’s time to stop doing that. It’s time to start living each day as if every moment matters...because it does.

God Hears You

Do you feel like your prayers aren't answered?  Do you feel like God is ignoring you?  In today's episode, I talk about how important it is to call on your spiritual team, and to pray with unwavering faith.  God not only hears your prayers, but he answers them too.  The answer just may not come in the form you expected.  God always says, 'Yes; Yes, but not now; or No, because I have something much better for you."  We just have to trust that the Universe is working on our behalf to bring us what is for our highest good in Divine timing.  We must understand that the Universe knows what is for our highest good because God sees the bigger picture.  Have faith knowing that everything is always working out perfectly for you.
